HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 40654 of 2016 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is being taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the third respondent in not disposing of the representation dated 13.10.2016 made by the petitioners, as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice; and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioners over the land admeasuring Ac.3.45 cents in Sy.No.222B situated at Bairavanithippa Village, Brahmasamudram Mandal, Anantapur District.

3) The grievance of the petitioners is that though they made a representation on 13.10.2016 till date no orders are passed on the said representation and hence seek a direction for disposal of the said representation.

4) The Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that a direction may be given to the third respondent to dispose of the representation, if any, pending in accordance with law. 5) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submissions made, the present writ petition is disposed of,

directing the third respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioners on 13.10.2016 seeking verification and enter the land admeasuring Ac.0.60 cents in the revenue records in the name of the petitioners through online and pass orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs. 6) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
