ORDER

The petitioner prays for the following relief: "...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus to declare the seizure of the lorry bearing No.AP 26 U 2745 of the petitioner by conducting panchanama dated 02.08.2016 as illegal, arbitrary, improper without any power or authority under law and pass such other order or orders".

For the same relief, the petitioner, on 25.08.2016, filed petition for release of lorry bearing No.AP 26 U 2745, before the second respondent-Joint Collector, Guntur District. This Court is of the view that the second respondent, after considering the reasons stated in the petition dated 25.08.2016, ought to have passed orders by now. 3.

Since no order is passed as on date, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to pass orders on petition dated 25.08.2016, within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
