Heard Mr. Srinivas Ambati for petitioners and Assistant Government Pleader (Revenue) for respondents 1 to 3. 2.

Petitioners pray for appropriate directions to second respondent for consideration and disposal of revision petition filed by petitioners on 28.06.2016 against assignment proceedings No.R.Dis/ DAR/ 878/ 94 dated 06.09.1985.

Counsel for petitioners made a few submissions on the totality of circumstances under which the revision referred to above was filed by petitioners.

This Court is of the view that the grievance of petitioners is substantially pending adjudication before the second respondent. The revision was filed 28.06.2016, therefore, to meet the ends of justice and having regard to the circumstances stated by petitioners, I am satisfied the writ petition can be disposed of by this order. a) The second respondent disposes of revision filed by petitioners on 28.06.2016 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

b) It is made clear that this Court has not examined the merits of the matter or the maintainability of revision before the second respondent and the same has to be considered and examined by the competent authority. c) Petitioners are given liberty to communicate a copy of this order to the second respondent.

The writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
