S.D.Lal v. A.P.State Road Transport Corporation, Rep. By Its M.D.
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.14924 of 2002 ORDER:
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking promotion and during pendency of the writ petition, the case of the petitioner was considered and he was promoted as Assistant Depot Clerk in September, 2015. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are not considering his case on par with his juniors i.e., the unofficial respondents. Therefore, the learned counsel contends that the petitioner may be permitted to submit a representation to the official respondents seeking promotion on par with his juniors.
Having considered the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the official respondents.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents seeking promotion on par with his juniors, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon receiving such representation, the official respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with the rules. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
