Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

The petitioner states that the land to an extent of Ac.5.11 guntas situated in Survey No.282 of Kundanpalli Village, Ramagundam Mandal, Peddapalli District, belongs to one Gulam Dasthagir and his name was recorded in sethwar and other revenue records. The said Dasthagir expired in the year 1964 and his wife also expired in the same year. They have no issues. But, the said Dasthagir is having one brother by name G.Gulam Rasool. He has two wives. The said Gulam Rasool and his two wives also died and the petitioner herein is the only surviving legal heir of the family. But, the petitioner states that he is a disabled person, as such he executed a General Power of Attorney in favour of one B.Raju. While so, the petitioner made an application to the respondents on 29.04.2016 to mutate his name in the revenue records. Thereafter, the third respondent directed the fourth respondent to conduct enquiry and submit a report. Though the fourth respondent submitted a report wayback on 30.07.2016 and when no further action was taken by the third respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed.

Learned Government Pleader, on the basis of written instructions, submits that a report was submitted by the fourth respondent on 30.07.2016 and the matter is lying there. 3.

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to take appropriate action in accordance with

law pursuant to the report submitted by the fourth respondent on 30.07.2016 and pass orders within a period of two months from the date of recipe of a copy of this order.
