THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.20792 OF 2016 ORDER:

The limited grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent is not passing orders either in the appeal or atleast in the stay petition filed by the petitioner on 10.05.2016. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in similar circumstances in W.P.No.14773 of 2016 this Court by order dated 27.04.2016 by following the ratio settled in Anab-E-Shahi Wines and another vs.

Deputy Commissioner([1]) directed the respondents to pass orders within a stipulated time. Hence, he prays for disposal of the present writ petition in the same lines as in W.P.No.14773 of 2016.

Learned Government Pleader does not dispute the legal proposition cited by the learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the submissions of both the counsel, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to take up the appeal filed by the petitioner on 10.05.2016 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the appeal is disposed of, there shall be suspension of proceedings in Rc.F/3697/2015 dated 27.04.2016 passed by the 3rd respondent. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending in the writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
