M.E. Raghuram S/O. M.E. Gopal, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO W.P.No.7706 of 2016 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos1 to 3.
2.
Petitioners' grievance is that they had presented document for registration before 2nd respondent and that 2nd respondent is refusing to even receive the document for the purpose of registration. 3.
Learned Government Pleader for Revenue states that 2nd respondent will receive the document submitted by the petitioners for the purpose of registration and if he is not inclined to register the same, he will pass a reasoned order under Section 71 of the Registration Act, 1908 giving reasons why he does not wish to register the document.
4.
In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing 2nd respondent to receive the document produced by the petitioner for the purpose of registration and if he is not inclined to register it, he shall pass an order thereon under Section 71 of the Registration Act, 1908 giving reasons why he does not wish to register the document and communicate the same to the petitioner within four weeks from the date of
submission of the document by the petitioner. No costs. 5.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
