ORDER:

Heard.

2. Petitioner herein questions the check report and seizure of his vehicle bearing No.TN 76F 2332, which was seized vide check report No.2518347 dated 02.12.2014. The reasons mentioned in the check report shows that the vehicle was found plying in the Telangana State, though petitioner states that it was on official visit.

3. In any case, that is a matter for enquiry where petitioner is at liberty to file his detailed objections, which shall be considered by respondent No.2, and appropriate orders will be passed in the enquiry relating to the said

check report. For the present, in view of the fact that petitioner's vehicle is seized, pending enquiry no purpose would be served by detaining the vehicle and hence, petitioner's request for release of the vehicle is required to be considered by respondent No.2 expeditiously.

4. Writ petition is, therefore, disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent No.2 and make appropriate application for release of the vehicle and on receipt of such application respondent No.2 shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon within one week from the date of receipt of application for release of the vehicle subject to appropriate conditions.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
