According to the petitioner his father was assigned land to an extent of Ac.0-20 guntas in Sy.No.150 of Kotarmoor Village, and was granted D-Form patta in April 2010. His father died on 13.11.2013. After the death of father of the petitioner, he is in possession and cultivating the said property. Petitioner claims that a representation was made on 28.08.2017 to mutate his name in the revenue records in the place of his father. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this writ petition is filed. 3.

As noticed by this Court in several writ petitions the stand of the respondents is that an application for mutation has to be made in Form VI A through online web portal of the State and only such applications are processed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner did not deny the fact that petitioner has not made such online application. Thus, it cannot be said that the Tahsildar has not acted upon the application made by the petitioner.

Thus, leaving it open to the petitioner to submit application as prescribed, the Writ Petition is disposed of. It is needless to observe, if an application is made as prescribed, the competent authority shall consider the same and by following the due procedure pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law, by assigning due reasons in support of the decision and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of ten (10) weeks from

- 3 - the date of receipt of such application. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
