This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful disobedience of order, dated 05.8.2013, in Writ Petition No.23123 of 2013. Admittedly, the petitioner has not caused legal notice issued to the respondents before filing this Contempt Case. Contempt being quasi-criminal in nature, the aggrieved party cannot straightaway file the Contempt Case without at least putting the respondents on notice about the alleged violation of the order of this Court. Therefore, the Contempt Case is dismissed without adjudicating on merits of the case, however, with liberty to the petitioner to avail a fresh remedy in the event the respondents do not stop alleged interference after issue of legal notice.
