Heard counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

Petitioner's grievance is that show cause notices dt.27-08-2008 and 20-11-2008 have been issued by 1st respondent under the A.P. Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 and that though petitioner has submitted detailed explanation thereto, no final orders have been passed by 1st respondent till date. 3.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue states that 1st respondent's office is unable to locate the file relating to the show cause notices, referred to above, and that fresh show cause notice will be issued by 1st respondent to the petitioner inviting petitioner's explanation and after receiving petitioner's explanation, a reasoned order in accordance with law will be passed by 1st respondent. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to 1st respondent to issue fresh show cause notice to the petitioner in respect of the subject land under the above statute inviting petitioner's explanation thereto and after the petitioner submits explanation, 1st respondent shall pass a reasoned order and communicate it to the petitioner. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
