The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.2 in not mutating the name of the petitioner in revenue records in respect of his property bearing plot No.17 in L.P.No.22/ 86 layout, situated at Sydapuram village, within the limits of Kadiri Municipality, Kadiri Mandal, Anantapuramu District, even after submission of EC, valuation and house tax receipt, as illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 15.09.2018 made by the petitioner seeking mutation of his name in the revenue records, as early as possible. The same is not disputed by the Sri Md.Saleem, learned Standing Counsel for Municipality.

Having regard to the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider the application dated 15.09.2018, made by the petitioner, seeking mutation of his name in the revenue records, in respect of the property referred to above, if it is in accordance with law and if the petitioner satisfies with the requirements of law, as early as possible, preferably
within a period of four to six weeks, after hearing all the concerned if necessary.
