HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1779 of 2015 ORDER:

After hearing both sides, at the admission stage, the following order is passed.

Having regard to the fact that the charge sheet is filed, and C.C. is numbered after taking cognizance of the charge sheet, it is not a fit case to quash the proceedings.

However, the petitioner/accused can file a discharge application with all the defences that are legally permissible to him and in which case, the trial Court shall dispose of his discharge petition on merits at the earliest.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
