HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.39623 OF 2018 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in passing the impugned order vide D.Dis. Proceedings No.19985/R3-1/2003, dated 28.11.2016 and keeping the revision application filed by the petitioner pending with the 1st respondent as illegal and arbitrary. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology.

Though various grounds are raised, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner filed a revision application before the 1st respondent questioning the impugned proceedings on 07.12.2017, no orders are passed so far. Learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology, would submit that if the revision application dated 7.12.2017, is still pending, the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the same, in accordance with law, as early as possible. Having considered the submissions made by the parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent before whom the revision application dated 07.12.2017, filed by the petitioner is pending, to pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two to three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after giving the reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all concerned.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall also stand closed.
