The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of A IMUNEENDHAR REDDY Advocate for the Petitioner, and U DAYA BHASKARA RAO(SC FOR ACB SPL PP) Advocate for the Respondent the Court made the following.
ORDER:
This Criminal Petition, under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ accused officer No.1, for grant of bail in connection with Crime No.08/RCT-ACB-GNT/2018 of ACB Police Station, Guntur, Guntur District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 20 18. 2.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/A.O. 1, the iearned Standing Counsel - cum - Special Public Prosecutor for A.C.B. Cases and perused the record.

During the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner/A.O. 1 that the petitioner/ A. O. 1 was remanded to judicial custody on 19.09.20 18; that the alleged bribe amount was already recovered from the possession of A-3 ald that the statements of witnesses under Section 164 Cr.P.C. were recorded.

I statements of witnesses under Section 164 Cr.P.C. were recorded. 4, On the other hand, learned Standing Counsel - cum - Special Public Prosecutor for A.C.ti. CaSes opposed grant of bail to the petitioner/A.O. 1. 5.
It appears that most part of the investigation is completed. Under these circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner I A.O.I under Section 439 Cr.P.C.

Accordingly, the petitioner/A.O. 1 is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) with two sureties in a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases at Vij ayawada. After release on bail, the petitioner/A.O. 1 sha11 report before the Station House Officer, A.C.B. Police Station, Guntur, Guntur District on every Sunday between O9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, ti11 hling of the charge-sheet. 7.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. - B.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
