O R D E R :

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/A-1 under section 437 and 439 of Cr.P.C., seeking to enlarge the petitioner on bail in crime No. 2 of 2016 of Jaggampeta Police Station, East Godavari district, registered for the offences under section 8 [c] read with section 20 [b] [1] of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner/A-1 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State.

3. Keeping in view the recovery of huge quantity of ganja weighing 240 Kgs., in 12 bags in TATA model van bearing No. AP-20-Y-0129, section 37 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, comes into play.

7. Accordingly, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. The Criminal Petition is accordingly dismissed.

9. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
