THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.6274 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"... to issue any writ, or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents 2 to 4 for not considering the petitioners' applications dated 18-08-2015 in converting the land from Poramboke land to Patta and to issue the No Objection Certificate to that extent, as is illegal, arbitrary, and in violation of Article 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India. Consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the petitioners' applications dated 18-08-2015 in converting the land from Poramboke land to Patta and to issue the No Objection Certificate to that extent in the interest of just and pass such other order or orders as deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

3. Though various grounds are raised in the Writ Petition, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to respondent authorities to consider the application made by the petitioners.

4. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, submits that if the said application filed by the petitioners is still

CPK,J W.P.No.6274 of 2016 pending consideration, the respondent authorities may be directed to consider the same.

5. Having regard to the above submissions made and without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to dispose of the application, dated 18.08.2015, made by the petitioners in accordance with law, after hearing all the aggrieved persons, including the petitioners herein, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
