ORDER

The petitioner challenges the proceedings dated 04.09.2018 issued by the 2nd respondent-Superintending Engineer. 2.

The case of the petitioner is that the respondents are insisting for additional security deposit of Rs.5,59,500/- by way of Bank guarantee/demand draft in favour of the Secretary, Agricultural Market Committee, Khammam, to accept the tender in its favour. 3.

It is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner for providing additional security deposit by way of Bank guarantee/demand draft, which is a condition under which the petitioner had quoted for execution of the work. 4.

In those circumstances and as the payment of additional security deposit is a contractual term, which is not questioned before this Court, I am not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. 5.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand dismissed.
