It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that in similar circumstances, Division Bench of this Court disposed of WP No.25642 of 2017 on 02-08-2017. The same is not disputed by the learned Government Pleader for Services and the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent. 2.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of for the reasons and in terms of the order passed in WP No.25642 of 2017, dated 02-08-2017 directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion, as and when Departmental Promotion Committee is constituted, without reference to the charges framed against him, but, however, subjecting such promotion to the outcome of the pending departmental proceedings. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
