HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.16036 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners/A1 and A2 seek to quash the FIR in Cr.No.192 of 2014 of Shamirpet PS, Cyberabad, R.R.District which was registered against them for the offence under Sections 420 IPC and Section 156(3) Cr.P.C.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 25.07.2017 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Shamirpet PS, Cyberabad Commissionerate and submitted that the case was referred as Mistake of Fact and final report was filed on 05.08.2015 before XXI Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the FIR No.192 of 2014 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3) There is no representation for petitioners.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
