HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P No.10865 of 2017 IN/ AND Criminal Petition No.9909 of 2017 ORDER :
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner in Cr.No.171 of 2017 of Medchal Police Station registered for the offences punishable u/ sec.498-A, 323 and 506 IPC and u/ sec.3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, and Sections 3(1)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes(Prevention of Atrocities) Act (for short, 'the Act') based on the complaint of the 2nd respondent none other than the wife of the petitioner, and the learned Public Prosecutor for the 1st respondent-State and also the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent-complainant and perused the material on record.
Both the parties present before the Court and filed a petition vide Crl.P.M.P.No.10865 of 2017 seeking permission to compound the offences and thereby to record compromise stating that they have settled the matter between them amicably and wants to lead happy marital life. Accordingly the petition is allowed by permitting the parties to compound the offences and the compromise is recorded.
Having regard to the above, the Crl.P.M.P.No.10865 of 2017 is allowed, consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed by quashing all the proceedings in Cr.No.171 of 2017 of Medchal
Police Station and the petitioner is acquitted and his bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
