HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A.V.SESHA SAI W .P.No. 3 9 8 5 8 of 2 0 1 8 ORDER: - When the matter is taken up, the written instructions, dated 12.11.2018, received by the learned Government Pleader from the Inspector of Police, Old Guntur P.S., Guntur Town, are placed on record.

According to the said instructions, after registration of the crime on 01.06.2016 for the alleged offences under Sections 420 and 506 I.P.C., the police authorities have examined 5 witnesses. It is further stated that some other witnesses are yet to be examined.

Since it is a crime of 2016, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, with a direction to the respondent-police authorities to expedite the investigation and complete the same, as expeditiously as possible, and file a final report.
