HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.24272 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in considering and passing appropriate orders on the petitioner's representations dated 16.11.2010, 17.02.2011, 25.02.2016 and 26.03.2016 requesting the respondent Authorities to consider proposal and extend necessary support in establishing a model project "Mentally Retarded Children" for the benefit of special need children is arbitrary, illegal and violation of Article 354 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to consider and take appropriate action on the representations submitted by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for all the parties.

3. The case of the petitioner is that it has made several representations to the respondent Authorities requesting their support for a model project "Mentally Retarded Children" for the benefit of special need children.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the third respondent is hereby directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 16.11.2010, 17.2.2011, 25.2.2016 and 26.3.2016 and pass appropriate orders thereon as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
