This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 4th respondent in not concluding the proceedings for mutation of the names of the petitioners in revenue records and issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds in respect of their respective extent of lands, pursuant to the notices issued by the 4th respondent vide Reference Nos.A/98/2010, dated 22.05.2010 and A/97/2010, dated 30.07.2010, for conducting enquiry.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that after issuance of notices dated 22.05.2010 and 30.07.2010, in pursuance to the applications of the petitioners, there is no progress in the inquiry and not orders have been passed.
It is to be seen that having issued notices, the 4th respondent could have concluded the inquiry.
In view of the facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to conclude the inquiry and pass necessary orders after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and other affected parties, within
a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
