THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Contempt Case No.1789 of 2014 ORDER:

While the Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.10438 of 2014 dated 04.04.2014 Sri S. Lakshminarayana Reddy, Learned Standing Counsel for the GVMC, has today passed on a copy of the Transfer of Development Right Certificate issued to the petitioner in lieu of the land taken over by the G.V.M.C for laying the road. The TDR Certificate has been made subject to the result of W.P.No.9536 of 2006. Sri Unnam Muralidhar Rao, Learned Counsel for the petitioner, acknowledges receipt of the TDR Certificate and submits that, consequently, the order of this Court must be held to have been complied with.

In view of the submission made by the Learned Counsel for the petitioner, I see no reason to proceed against the respondents under the Contempt of Courts Act. The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
