Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "...to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus by declaring the inaction of the Respondent No.5 in conducting investigation pursuant to Crime No.47/2011, dt.04-05-2011 U/s.3 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act and filing the investigation report, is illegal, arbitrary, violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, besides violative of Principles of Natural Justice and consequently direct the respondent No.5 to conduct the investigation in Crime No.47/2011 and to forthwith file the charge-sheet and pass such other order/s as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

During the course of hearing, learned Government Pleader brought to the notice of the Court that pursuant to registration of Crime No.47 of 2011, the investigation is completed and charge sheet is filed before the I Additional Magistrate, Nirmal. After taking cognizance of the offence, the case was numbered as C.C.No.402 of 2014.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
