ORDER
This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/accused, seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.103 of 2016-2017 of Nuzvid Prohibition and Excise Station, Krishna District, against him.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.
3. As seen from the complaint, it is evident that there are certain allegations against the petitioner. Truth or otherwise of the allegations made against the petitioner in the complaint can be ascertained by the investigating agency during the course of investigation. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to quash the impugned proceedings. However, the police concerned are directed to proceed with the investigation without arresting the petitioner/accused for a period of two(2) months from today.
T h e petitioner/accused is directed to appear before the investigating agency, as and when required and cooperate with the investigating agency.
4. With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
