THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.9975 OF 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to quash the proceedings in Crime No.223 of 2017 of Huzurabad Police Station, Karimnagar District filed for the offences punishable under Section 3(i)(r)(s)(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and Sections 290 and 324 of the Indian Penal Code on various grounds but the counsel for the petitioner requested to issue directions to the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.).

Without touching the merits of the case and acceding to the request of the counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v.
