THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.6801 of 2016 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioner - Schools is for release of maintenance grants in terms of G.O.Ms.No.320, Education - (PS-2) Department, dated 13.09.1994, for the years 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15.

As the petitioner - Schools' claim statements filed on various dates in February, 2016, are pending consideration before the authorities concerned, this Court sees no purpose served in entertaining this writ petition for adjudication on merits. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of at the admission stage directing the authorities concerned to take appropriate action upon the claim statements filed by the petitioner - Schools in the light of the G.O.Ms.No.320 dated 13.09.1994 and release the maintenance grants as per their entitlement. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
