This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.387 of 2017 on the file of the XV Special Metropolitan Magistrate, Erramanjil at Hyderabad, against the petitioner-A.2 for the offences under Sections 138 and 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

Heard both sides and perused the record.

It is submitted by Sri G.Mallikarjuna Rao, learned counsel for respondent No.2-de facto complainant, that inadvertently, the petitionerA.2 is added as accused No.2 in C.C. No.387 of 2017 pending on the file of the XV Special Metropolitan Magistrate, Erramanjil at Hyderabad, she has nothing to do with regard to the allegations constituting the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. 4.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for respondent No.2-de facto complainant, the proceedings against the petitioner-A.2 in C.C. No.387 of 2017 pending on the file of the XV Special Metropolitan Magistrate, Erramanjil at Hyderabad, are quashed against the petitioner-A.2.
