CVNR, J & GSP, J W.P.No.9079 of 2016 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of respondent Nos.1 to 4 in not appointing Chairman as well as members to the Special Court under the Andhra Pradesh Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act, 1982, from 29.03.2015 and in not providing appropriate forum to the public litigants, ignoring the orders passed by the Division Bench of this Court viz., dated 01.07.2015 in W.P.No.19387 of 2015, dated 19.08.2012 in P.I.L.No.188 of 2012 and dated 27.01.2014 in P.I.L.No.457 of 2013 as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct the aforesaid respondents to continue the Special Court by appointing Chairman as well as members. 2.

On 02.08.2016, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (TS) appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 4 submitted that the State of Telangana already made a legislation abolishing the Special Court under the Andhra Pradesh Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act, 1982. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for General Administration Department (AP) appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 3 requested for an adjournment to report on the stand of the Andhra Pradesh Government. 3.

Today, at the hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for General Administration Department (AP) placed before us, a photocopy of G.O.Ms.No.420, Revenue (EA & AR) Department, dated 02.09.2016, whereunder the Government of Andhra Pradesh has abolished the Special Court constituted under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act, 1982.

As both the State Governments have abolished the Special Courts, the relief claimed in this writ petition has become infructuous. 5.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.

As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.11513 of 2016 filed by the petitioners for interim relief shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
