THE HON'BLE DR.JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.11814 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/A.2, for grant of bail in Crime No.77 of 2018 of Singanamala Police Station, Anantapur District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 324 of IPC.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/A.2 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondentState and perused the record. 3.

As per the material placed on record, the petitioner/A.2 is responsible for the quarrel and the injuries suffered by the de facto complainant. On 06.07.2018, when the de facto complainantI.Sunkanna was in his house, a grievous injury was caused by A.1 at the instance of the petitioner/A.2 to his little finger. The petitioner/A.2 is responsible for the abuses and also handing over the sickle to A.1 and A.1 hacked the little finger upto the nail of the de facto complainant on that evening. There are specific and grave allegations against the petitioner/A.2 with regard to her active participation and commission of offence. The punishment for the alleged offence is stringent. It cannot be said that the petitioner/A.2 is innocent and falsely implicated in this case. The petition is devoid of merit and is liable to be dismissed.

In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
