This writ petition has been filed challenging the orders passed by the 1st respondent-Industrial Tribunal in I.D.No.75 of 1999, dated 23.10.2001 confirming the termination order dated 29.6.1998 passed by the 2nd respondent.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it has been informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation. 3.
This Court feels that the relief sought by the petitioner for reinstating him into service, cannot be granted at this length of time, as the petitioner has already attained the age of superannuation, and this writ petition can be disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to pay the service benefits to the petitioner, for the service rendered by him prior to his removal from service, if not already paid, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to pay the service benefits to the petitioner, for the service rendered by him prior to removal from service, if not already paid, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to
costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
