This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of proceedings in Crime No.891 of 2017 of Station House Officer, Jagathgirigutta Police Station, registered for the offences under Sections 354, 420, 406, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 156 (3) of the Criminal Procedure Code, against the petitioner/accused No.1.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 03.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has submitted a copy of Letter dated 05.01.2023 proceedings wherein it is mentioned that the case in Crime No.891 of 2017 of Station House Officer, Jagathgirigutta Police Station, has been referred as 'false' on 29.02.2020.

The same is recorded.

In view of the above submission, since the very purpose of filing this Criminal Petition is already been defeated, no purpose would survive to proceed with this Criminal Petition and the same has become infructuous.

In view of the above, this Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications in this matter, if any, shall stand closed.
