THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.261 of 2014 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India assailing the action of the respondent - police authorities in not closing the rowdy-sheet opened against the petitioner herein.

Today, when the matter is taken up, written instructions furnished by the Inspector of Police, Dabeerpura Police Station, Hyderabad have been placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Home.

According to the said instructions, as per the instructions of the D.C.P., South Zone Officer, close surveillance was kept by deputing the concerned sector S.I., Crime Staff and Blue Colts over the activities of the petitioner herein, but no adverse came to the notice of Dabeerpura police as on today and the said instructions further reveal that proposal of closing rowdy sheet against the petitioner has been submitted to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Zone, Hyderabad through A.C.P., Mirchowk Division, Hyderabad and orders are awaited. On noticing the said written instructions it is requested by the learned counsel for the petitioner to close the writ petition by recording the said written instructions and further to direct the respondent police authorities to take appropriate action, as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the above, writ petition stands disposed of, by recording the said written instructions furnished by the Inspector of Police, Dabeerpura Police Station, Hyderabad and the

respondent - police authorities are also further directed to take appropriate action, as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs.

The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
