HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA CRL.R.C. No.2968 OF 2017 JUDGMENT:

The revision petitioner herein preferred the present Criminal Revision Case questioning the order, dated 27.09.2017, passed by the by the learned XIII Additional Sessions Judge - cum - Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Cyberabad at L.B. Nagar, Ranga Reddy District, in Crl.M.P. No.464 of 2017 in Criminal Appeal No.1023 of 2017.

2. The revision petitioner herein preferred the Criminal Appeal No.1023 of 2017 questioning the conviction recorded and sentence of imprisonment inflicted on him and compensation ordered to be paid, besides the fine amount in C.C. No.311 of 2016 by the learned Special Magistrate, Hayathnagar, and also made an application in Crl.M.P. No.464 of 2017 under Section 389 (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, requesting to suspend the sentence of imprisonment and also to stay the compensation amount to be paid.

3. Heard Sri P. Animi Reddy, learned counsel for the revision petitioner.

4. The only point involved in the present Criminal Revision Case relates to the condition imposed by the learned lower appellate Court to deposit 25% of the compensation amount by the revision

ASN,J Crl.R.C. No.2968 of 2017 petitioner herein within two months and also to execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- with two sureties for like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate for his release, while suspending the operation of sentence of imprisonment passed by the learned Special Magistrate in C.C. No.311 of 2016. The said order was passed by the learned lower appellate Court in Crl.M.P. No.464 of 2017 on 27.09.2017

5. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner would make a request to enhance the period of two months to that of six weeks more.

6. In such an event, it would be reasonable to direct the revision petitioner - accused to deposit 25% of the compensation amount within six weeks from today. The total compensation awarded was Rs.3,00,000/-.

7. The present Criminal Revision Case is, accordingly disposed of.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the present revision, stand closed.
