The case of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner and possessor of land admeasuring Ac.33-803⁄4 cents in Survey No.497, 498, 499, 500 and 684 of Valasapalli panchayat, Madhanapalli mandal, Chittoor District, having succeeded to the property on the demise of his mother. He submitted several representations to the respondents 2 to 4 seeking mutation of his name against the subject property in revenue records, but no action was taken. He made a representation to the Deputy Chief Minister for Revenue, whereupon the Deputy Chief Minister made an endorsement dated 01.07.2018 directing the 2nd respondent to examine and take appropriate action. Thereafter, the 2nd respondent addressed a letter dated 27.07.

2018 to the 4th respondent-Tahsildar to conduct field inspection and also verify revenue records and take necessary action as per law. It is the grievance of the petitioner that no action is being taken by the respondents on his representation for mutation, till date. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, State of Andhra Pradesh. Learned Assistant Government Pleader on written instructions received from the 4th respondent, dated 10.11.2018, submits that the petitioner and his wife Lakshmi Kanthamma was issued pattadar passbooks for an extent of Ac.864 cents each, i.e., a total land admeasuring Ac.17-28 cents in Survey Nos.

497, 498, 499, 500 and 684 of Valasapalle village, Madanapalle mandal, Chittoor District; and that the petitioner has not filed any relevant documentary evidence in support of his claim of Ac.33-803⁄4 cents.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, it is open for the petitioner to submit necessary documents in support of his claim within four weeks from today, and the 4th respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner by taking into consideration the documentary evidence that may be filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law.
