Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned standing counsel appearing for the third respondent Corporation.

Learned standing counsel appearing for the third respondent Corporation brought to the notice of this Court that due to the ensuing elections for the Municipal Corporations the Notification under Section 4(1) of the Land Acquisition Act has not been issued and it will be issued within four weeks from today.

Taking note of the said submission into consideration, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to closed.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to 6.
