ORDER:

The W.P.No.14244 of 2014 is filed challenging the orders of recovery, dated 31.12.2003, for an amount of Rs.9,24,000/-. By order, dated 29.04.2014, this Court directed stay of recovery. Alleging that in spite of the stay of recovery granted the amounts due and payable to the petitioner were not realized, the Contempt is filed.

2. Sri B. Mayur Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submits that an amount of Rs.1,54,000/- was recovered on 02.03.2014, i.e., prior to the interim order passed by this Court and after the interim order passed by this Court, no amount is recovered and the balance amount out of Rs.9,24,000/- was paid. This fact is not denied by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Having regard to the same, I do not see any justification to proceed further in the contempt case. The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
