THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.7358 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/accused, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash F.I.R.No.117 of 2014 on the file of Karepalli Police Station, Khammam District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The learned Public Prosecutor representing respondents 1 and 2 submitted that as no interim order was passed by this Court, the investigation agency had completed the investigation and filed the charge-sheet before the Court concerned. Therefore, the question of quashing the FIR does not arise at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand dismissed.
