THE HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.10720 of 2017 O R D E R:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of FIR No.762 of 2017 dated 12.07.2017 on the file of L.B.Nagar Police Station L and O, Rachakonda District registered against the petitioners/Accused for the offence under Sections 406, 418, 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

No representation on behalf of the petitioners as well as respondent No.2.

Sri T.V.Ramana Rao, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1/State has submitted that the police concerned have completed the investigation and charge sheet was filed and numbered as C.C.No.168 of 2023 and to that extent copy of proceedings sheet downloaded from e-courts is filed.

Considering the facts and circumstances discussed above, this Court is of the opinion that since no cause of

action survives to prosecute the case and thereby this Criminal Petition has become infructuous and is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
