CVNR, J & GSP, J WP 36642/2017 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

"... to issue a writ, order or direction, more particularly in the nature of writ of habeas corpus, directing the respondents to release the detenu forthwith by setting aside the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent vide proceedings No.25/Pd/CCRB/RKD/2017, dated 8.8.2017 as confirmed in G.O. Rt. No.2235 dated 25.10.2017 passed by the 1st respondent."

At the hearing, learned Government Pleader for Home (TS) submitted that by G.O. Rt. No.2495, General Administration [Spl. (Law & Order)] Department, dated 05.12.2017, the impugned detention order was revoked by respondent No.1. In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition has become infructuous. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as such.
