CVNR, J & GSP, J WP 36576/2017 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

"...to issue a writ of habeas corpus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India directing the respondents to produce M.V. Shiva Reddy, S/o. Narayana Reddy, Aged about 30 years, now detained in Central Prison, Cherlapally, Medchal District, before this Honourable Court and he may be ordered to be released forthwith/set at liberty after declaring his detention vide No.28/PD/CCRB/RKD/2017, dated 1310-2017 passed by the 2nd respondent as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and void."

At the hearing, learned Government Pleader for Home (TS) submitted that by G.O. Rt. No.2484, General Administration [Spl. (Law & Order)] Department, dated 04.12.2017, the impugned detention order was revoked by respondent No.1. In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition has become infructuous. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as such.
