Krishnaiah, learned counsel for the petitioner, states with a very heavy heart that his clients fearing reprisal from the department wanted to withdraw the writ petition. Permission is accorded.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to take a challenge only in so far as the grievance relating to seniority list is concerned.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
