THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.2 to 4 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition No.11870 of 2018 ORDER :

The petitioners are the A.1,2 and 5-husband and in-laws of the defactocomplainant respectively, in C.C.No.158 of 2018 on the file of the XIII Addl.Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, outcome of Cr.No.640 of 2015 of Women Police Station, D.D.Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 406IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, on the report of the defacto-complainant/ 1st respondent to the Criminal Petition.

The petition I.A.No.4 of 2018 filed by A.3-Mohammed Abdul Hameed, father of the A.1, to permit General Power of Attorney (for short, 'GPA') to represent his son/ A.1, is allowed.

The accused persons and the defacto-complainant along with their counsel present before the Court and stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2018 to compromise the matter and compound the offence. In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.Nos.2 to 4 of 2018 are allowed. Consequently, the Crl.P.No.11870 of 2018 is also allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioners/ accused persons in C.C.No.158 of 2018 on the file of the XIII Addl.Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. The petitioners/ accused are acquitted and their bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
