This Criminal Petition, under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/accused for grant of bail in connection with Crime No.180 of 2018 of Garidepalli Police Station, Suryapet District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 IPC.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/accused, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondentState and perused the record. 3.

This petitioner/accused is remanded to judicial custody for causing murder of his brother. There are number of eyewitnesses to the alleged offence. The offence alleged is heinous and the punishment may extend to imprisonment for life or death. The investigation in this case is not yet completed. Release of petitioner/accused would hinder the investigation. There is also apprehension that the petitioner would indulge in threatening the witnesses. It is not a fit case to allow the application. 4.
