The petitioner is a permanent resident of Kodicherla village, Nizamabad District and belongs to BC (B) Community. He passed 10th Class in the year 1983. He worked as Gopalamitra worker from 2002 to 2016 in the said village on a monthly remuneration of Rs.3,000/-. When a paper notification was issued on 27.06.2016 calling for applications for appointment of Gopalamitra on permanent basis, the petitioner submitted the application on 02.07.2016. The interviews were scheduled from 12.07.2016 onwards. The present Writ Petition was filed seeking a call letter for interview pursuant to his application and when the matter is pending it appears that the petitioner was interviewed on 12.07.2016. However, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner was not selected for the post of Gopalamitra, whereas learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no results have been declared.

2. In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to issue a communication to the petitioner with regard to selections made pursuant to interview held on 12.07.2016. There shall be no order as to costs.

3. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. ________________________ A.
