THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.8984 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/A-1 under Sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking to grant bail in Crime No.71 of 2016 of Prohibition and Excise Police Station, Tandur, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 8(c) read with 22(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2. Heard and perused the material available on record.

3. Case of the prosecution is that on 20.2.2016, the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 2 kgs. of Alprazolam.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent of the offences alleged against him and he has been falsely implicated in the present case.

5. The earlier bail application of the petitioner was dismissed by this Court on 7.6.2016. There is no change of circumstances. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
