HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No:38116 OF 2016 ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to close the rowdy sheet opened against the petitioners.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated in the affidavit that the 1st petitioner is working as Bank Manager in Syndicate Bank at Hindupur and his brother-2nd petitioner herein is an advocate in Guntakal. The 4th respondent opened a rowdy sheet against the petitioners on the basis of the disputes between the petitioners and other family members. Hence, the petitioners pray to remove their names in the rowdy sheet and to remove their photographs in the police station.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that the petitioners can approach respondents Nos.2 and 3 by filing a representation.

Accordingly, the petitioners are directed to make a representation to respondents Nos.2 and 3, informing the nature of the offence alleged to have been committed by them, their family disputes, other grounds and also their respective position in the society, and praying to remove the rowdy-sheet opened against them. On such representation being made, respondents Nos.2 and 3 are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders. Meanwhile, the 4th respondent is directed not to call

the petitioners to the police station on the ground of pendency of rowdy sheet against them.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
