There was no representation for the appellant on 21.12.2017 and 22.01.2018. On 22.01.2018, having noted that there is no representation for the appellant, this Court directed the Appeal Suit to be listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Learned counsel for the respondent is present. Yet again, there is no representation for the appellant. In that view of the matter, it is apparent that the appellant is not interested in prosecuting the appeal. 2.

In the result, the Appeal Suit is dismissed for default. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.

There shall be no order as to costs.
